INTRODUCTION
The removal of antibiotic growth promoters from poultry diets prompted a rapid search for alternatives which could help prevent the enteric diseases in poultry. With the objective of developing a specialized product as a Feed supplement, which could act as an energy source for the cells of the intestine, stimulating mucosal growth, restrain the development of harmful florae, promote the reproducibility of advantageous florae such as lactic acid bacteria and bifido-bacterium rapidly, Narsipur Chemicals after long research and study have developed a highly effective and superior feed acidifier, ENCIDMAX- F. ENCIDMAX - F is a specialized synergestic combination of carefully chosen feed grade organic acids such as propionic, formic, acetic, citric and phosphoric together with high performance micro-encapsulated salt of a short chain fatty acid with stabilisers.

Mode of action:
REDUCTION OF GASTRIC PH
Stomach acid provides a natural barrier to infection; for example E.coli growth is inhibited below pH4 and enables better protein digestion.
INHIBITION OF BACTERIAL GROWTH
In addition to inhibitory effects due to low pH, organic acids have a direct bactericidal action: undissociated acid can be taken up by the bacteria and then dissociates within the cell causing pH reduction, inhibition of metabolic enzyme systems and cell death.
ENHANCED DIGESTIBILITY Organic acids appear to enhance diet digestibility by extending stomach retention time, increasing enzyme secretion and mineral absorption
