Water Acidifier
INTRODUCTION
Definition of pH : pH is the H* ion concentration present in a liquid which determines the acidity or alkalinity of a media. It is measured as a range between 0 to 14, below 7 being acidic and above 7 being alkaline.
Due to water levels going down in summer months, the concentration of Ca and Mg salts in the subsoil water (i.e. borewell, tube wells etc.) goes up and makes the water alkaline and hard. These salts get deposited in the nipples and pipelines and become a breeding ground for the micro-organisms and also for bio-film formation. The need of the hour is for a good quality pH acidifier. Hence in order to correct the pH balance, NARSIPUR has developed a very useful product, pH-A which by adding just a few drops, one can adjust the pH to required levels.
pH-A is the ideal acidifier of drinking water. pH-A helps control multiplication of entero pathogens like E. coli, Salmonella and Pseudomonas. It also helps in making conditions favourable for colonisation of useful bacteria like lactobacilli within the small intestine of birds.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
pH-A is an ideal well balanced blend of very high purity acetic, citric, propionic and tartaric acids with sodium acetate, sodium citrate and stabilizers in a buffered base.
ADVANTAGES
- No effect on taste and odour of water
- Non corrosive and non staining at user dilution
- No negative effect on Chlorine or lodine in water
- Avoids multiplication of entero pathogens
- Helps control scale formation in pipelines
- Absolutely safe
- Very economical
- Just a few drops is sufficient
APPLICATIONS
1 ml in 10 litres of drinking water depending on the pH required. pH-A is recommended to be added before treatment with water sanitizer.
PRECAUTIONS
Avoid direct contact with the concentrated solution of pH-A. If contact occurs, flush continuously with plenty of water.
NOTE
pH-A is not a substitute for water sanitation.
